Logon Batch files only working on machines with OS prior to Win2000

Are you pointing them to a login script in the scripts folder?
If so, check your permissions for your folder and files, by browsing network places for the netlogon folder.
in there you will find the script you created, most likely a batch file.
Click on it to see if you have correct permissions to read and execute.
This will make sense of your mystery.
