Logitech mouse does not scroll in Pagemaker 7.0

I just bought a Toshiba A25 running XP Home. I also bought a USB Logitech Optical Mouse running MouseWare 9.76. I can scroll in Office, PhotoShop Elements 2.0, and the Internet. But I cannot scroll in PageMaker 7.0 which is the program I use the most. Do I need a new driver?

No, I have the same problem and I believe it is because of PageMaker. I think many of the Adobe products have problems with scroll wheels (you should see what happens when I try to scroll in Photoshop). I was hoping Adobe would fix this with PageMaker 7 but as you can tell they didn't.

Now here is the weird thing. I have a Dell at work that uses the Dell Optical Mouse by Logitech. It scrolls very well in PageMaker 7.0. The only difference is that the Dell runs 2000 Pro.

I got a lame answer from Logitech that said, "Logitech does not have specific information about using our product with the third party product you mentioned. Please contact the manufacturer of your program if you have specific question regarding using our product in that program."

Maybe they have never heard of PageMaker.=-)

Update on PageMaker,

I can actually scroll in PageMaker by clicking the scroll wheel. A compass appears and I am able to scroll by moving the mouse away from the compass. It does work in the control palette, the styles and master pages palette, and in the working space. It will, however, take me some time in learning to move the mouse instead of just the wheel. Better that than nothing!
