We have a small network that was setup as a work group, users logged in locally to their machines and then were able to access network resources. New security policies dictate that all users will log-in to the server. I went to each PC and added them to the domain. Users can no log-in to the server. My question is how do I delete the drop box allowing users to log into their local machines? I want them to only log-on to the server.

One option is to delete their Local accounts. If they now have Domain accounts then they will not need them and having them there may cause confusion.

Be careful that they don't lose files/favorites in their local profiles.

We just went through that where I work. I wound up setting up roaming profiles due to the staff/computer ratio. Then I removed the local accounts in their machines.

As OzCDN pointed out, make sure their profiles have been copied elsewhere.

Thanks and I've already copied their local profiles to their network profile.
