login, then logout problem

Hi,

I have a user who is unable to login on his computer without putting him on the domain administrator. With him out of Domain Admin Groups, his desktop shows (for a brief moment) and then returns to the login screen. As if he was logged off immediately after loggin in.

Has anybody encountered this? The user can use his id on other workstations, so I assume the problem is on his unit alone.

Check what users have right to log on locally. Gia Betiu

It sounds as if his profile on his PC has become corrupt.

Is the user using downloadable profiles ?
If so, can they login on another PC ?

You may need to consider deleting the local and/or server profile before recreating it.

Remember to backup the favorites etc.
