Hi All,

I have 2 different Novell 5.1 servers in the same tree but in different contexts (cities) through a WAN connection.
Both servers have got a NDS replica in the other one.
My problem is with the mobile users. I would like that depending the city where they stay they can log in the local server and map the local units automatically.

The users aren't duplicate, then I need a way to know in the login script, what is the server where they have done log in to know what maps it's necesary to apply.

I hope someone can give me any idea
Thanks in advance.

I found this at the Novell site:
It involves creating a login script and saving it locally. Then you set up a "Location Profile" in the Novell client properties which point to that script to run. And enabling the "Location" choice in the Novell login. So that when the user is away he would choose the other location which would run the alternate login script.

Might take a little work but should work.

Hi Jon,

It's a very good solution. The idea works.

Thanks a lot for your help.
