Login expire problem

Hi,

When i dont use sql server login about 1-2 weeks, then i m receiving this error:

There was an error connecting to the database:

Number: -2147467259
Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers
Description: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for SQL Server login 'dt'. The password for this login has expired.

What can i do?

Most likely your admin has set your account to enforce password policy and password expiration. Ask your DBA to confirm what policies he has in effect for your account.

i have a dedicated server, i m using sql server 2005 express edition, i can set these settings. Where can i set?

Connect to the server instance with SSMS (SQL Server Managment Studio). Drill down into the Security and open the account that you are having issues with. You will see security options on the first page.
