Login bring up mapping of previous user 1

Have Client 4.9 Sp1 on new XP machines. Have a generic local account through XP. When someone logs in to the network via Novell, they get mapped drive to their own directory. Problem is when someone else logs in, the drive is mapped to the privious use's directory. When the second person logs out and then in again, the mapping is correct. Any ideas?
(I have the notion that it might this have to do with 'single sign on'. It could be some sort of configuration issue, or a bug in Novell 4.9.)

There is an option on the client for "Clear Connection" under the Advanced Login tab. If you check that, it should clear any prior mappings when anyone logs in.

However, I think you might have a bigger problem to address. Big Security Hole. Regardless of who logs in and in what order, once a new person logs in they should never be able to see something they don't have rights to. It sounds as if your users have excessive rights to other peoples folders. This should also be corrected.

Thanks! The people do have permission to see other folders, but it isn't suppose to map to those other folders. Looks like the "Clear Connection" will fix that problem.

i would recommend that you configure a dlu policy

generic logins are horrible - it's suicide letting everyone login as bob
