LOGGING T1 SLIPR

I'm having intermitant drop call / unable to place call issues with my Opt61c. My CSU/DSU is flashing occasional red net alarm. I have logged a call to the carrier and they are indicating no problem on their end. Where should I be looking.

I reset my line counts and see SLIPR increments.

I'm also seeing multiple alarms which I do not know what they mean.

Is this indicating clocking from loop 25

ssck 1 will give you the status of clock 1, you may need to switch clock controllers and see if the problem changes

Tracking on 25 but 0 is the preference - could be because 0 was down at one point.

try setting tracking back to 0

However, since you are seeing red net alarm on CSU - problem most likely Telco problem. Can you connect a laptop to CSU and see what type of errors you are getting there?

might want to check your physical cables to and from clock cards to T1 cards

make sure primary source is connected to loop 0 card and secondary souce is sonnected to loop card in the correct order.

It was a common problem to see Primary connector on clock (bottom connection) card connected to secondary T1 - would not see a problem until one of the T1s was in trouble.
