Logging into XP PC from Win2k PC

Can't seem to log into an XP machine (peer-to-peer) from either of my Win2k PC's. Going the other way is no problem.

I'm using the same username and password I log directly into the XP machine with....and it doesn't work.

Scratching my head!!!

Are they all in the same workgroup? What error message are you receiving?

yep...they are all in the same workgroup.


Getting the "incorrect password or unknown username" message

deleted and recreated XP account...and it worked fine. Go figure.

Maybe the XP firewall is turned on?
