Logged on by remote bdc

I have 2 local BDC's but my clients(NT 4.0) are being logged on by remote bdc's. Using NT 4.0 SP6A. There are no errors in Event viewer.

Any ideas?

Check your WINS configuration and database. The clients will use WINS to locate a domain controller, and if WINS is pointing them in the wrong direction it will screw things up.

And if your client are not WINS enabled and are set to use LMhosts file then you will have to manually enter the local domain controllers mapings using the #DOM and #PRE keywords.
