Log Off when user hits the X button! Pls Help

HI

I would like to know how i can sign off a user when he hits the X button or try's to close the browser?

If the above is not possible then an alert message will also be good...and not letting him close!

Also, if he changes from my website to another i would like to notify him!

You cannot control the browser/client machine in that way with Javascript.

hmmm...ok is there a way i can do it if not in javascript!?

I think you would have to use an activex control or java applet, but I have no experience of using these in that way.
