Log lost network connections

Is there a log file on a pc that keeps track of lost network connections. Or how often a network connection is lost? Thanks.

Windows inherently doesn't have any thing to track lost connections but there's a ton of software out there that will monitor and track that for you. Just do a Google search for "software to monitor network connection" and you'll find a bunch for free and some that are paid. Just find the one that fits your needs.
