We started getting this alarm about 9am on our attendant consoule. Any help would be great

Command: monitor security login
Command: list measurements security-violations (detail or summary)
Command: change system security

the last command will let you set thresholds to disable the login

I'm very new to Avaya. So let me start by saying thank you for your help. Can you help me to understand or point me in the right direction to find out how the attendant console works. The receptionist says they don't log in but just plug in the headset adapter. I am trying to figure out how we are getting login violations if they don't log in? Does that make any sense?

Thank you for any help and sorry to sound so stupid.

Command: display system security

This is where security violation thresholds are programmed as well as who receives alerts. (like the console)

Alerts sent to the console do not mean the attendant console users are causing the issue.

The other commands will provide data for you to tell what login is being used and the point of entry and how many times the login typed the wrong password.

My originationg extension is 3969 which is a Phantom-user names login violation. The referral Destination is 3506 which is my attendant console. in the list measurements security-violations detail I have one user, Login ID, dadmin, that has a sys-port successful logins 1 and invalid passwords 1. if I am thinking right I need to figure out who dadmin is correct? This error came up repeatedly today and this only shows one incorrect login.

Sorry for all the questions. Just have no one onsite for training.

Command: monitor security login

This will show the last several unsuccessful login attmepts for the login that is causing your attendant to get violation reports
