A lot of my users are getting the "Outlook is retrieving data from <server>...etc" and from reading posts on this forum I have figured out that I need to go into Adsiedit.msc and change a value. I know I need to go into the mxExchESEparamlogbuffer object and up the value, but I don't know what to change and what value....so...

What object do I change and what value do I change it to?

has anyone at least attempted this before? or used adsiedit for this issue? or had this message before?

Check out the Microsoft Exchange 2000 Internals: Quick Tuning Guide
It has information on setting the msExchESEParamLogBuffers.

Keep in mind though that this will need to be reversed when you move to Exchange 2003. Check out the Exchange 2003 Deployment guide for more information on that

Thanks a lot, that article is of great help...like the idea of a tuning guide. Thanks again for your help.
