I made a form and the control source was from a table. I wanted to put calculations in the form, so I did a querry on the table (I dragged the '*' into the field) and also added my calculations. I then changed my control source of the form from the table to the form. Everything seemed fine...all the data was there, etc. However, today, whenever I open my form, a make changes to a particular record, Access won't allow me to go to any other record. The two arrow buttons (at the bottom to scroll through differnt records) turn from black to gray. Also, I can't do a find...I click on it, and nothing happens. When I exit, it gives me an error message that says, "You can't save this record at this time" and that if I exit I may lose my information, but when I re-enter, (at least so far) it seems to have saved everything, but I don't want to take a chance. Did I turn something on/off to cause not being able to scroll through the records? And why do I get the error message? Any ideas welcome.

If your query has relationships that are of a type that is not updatable, you will not be able to update in the form.
Open the query in datasheet view and see if you can change values in it.
Also check that the form's Data properties has allow edits and allow new set to "yes"

Okay, I did try to update in the querry, and it did update the table, as well as the form. The 'allows edits' is set to "yes". 'Allow additions' is also set to 'yes'. Same thing happens though. As soon as I update something in the form, it won't let me scroll to other records, and it gives me the error message when I leave. Any other suggestions?
