Locking the desktop background

How can I lock the desktop background so users cannot change it?

Use gpedit.msc and look under Administrative Templates/Control Panel/Display. You can disable changing wallpaper. But this is not 100% effective as there are ways around it.

excellent thanks for that.

i have been looking around the group policies and wonder if it is possible to allow internet access to only 1 particular site a similar way?
