I'm trying to send an e-mail in which I would like to have the changes indicated in the replies. Is there some way to lock down the original message so that the repliers are forced to write their replies? Is it also possible to have all changes to the original message be returned in a different font color (without changing the replier's Outlook software)?
Thank you for any and all help and advice,

There is no way to do this natively. The problem arises in interoperability. If the other party isn't using Outlook, then it wouldn't work (no standard on these things). Lots of large corporations use Lotus Notes which doesn't exactly play well with Outlook. Just look at how meeting requests and v-cards interact on the different platforms.

Fortunately, you can use microsoft word for this. Just make it an attachment. Most of the companies I have worked for mail a word doc and an attachment with the track changes attribute set. The single downside to this is that Word is way bloated. Sometimes the docs would reach the hundreds of megabytes in size. My e-mail system can handle that but most corporate systems will not take attachements that size. There are ways around it, but that is for another forum. :)

It is what it is!!
