I have a problem that I am trying to resolve with VFP6 and it concerns users on records. Within our company code, we have a lot of old code that was upgraded from 2.6 and before.

Is there a way with foxpro commands to find out which workstations have a particular table open? All the new features of record locking are being used in todays programming but we still have to put up with some old issues.

Any command ideas would be appreciated. We are working on an NT network with approx 75 users.

Thanks for any help you may have.

I don't know the answer, but you could try on the Microsoft: FoxPro (versions 1 through 2.6) forum here at Tek-Tips.

Hope you find your answer,

Stewart

Sorry, the only way I know of is to keep track of it yourself in a table which is accessable by all workstations. Then, if you wish to know, you can just access the table to find out which station has it open.
