Locked instance

Hi,

I work with Oracle 8i in Windows 2003 Server. Everytime I reboot the PC the Oracle instance is shutdown and I had to access by DBA as a SYSADM user to open the instance pointing the initialization file.

Is there any solution to auto reboot the instance everytime I reboot the PC?

Check out the Oracle instance in "Services".

alberton,

make sure that the oracle service is set to start automatically, and is not disabled.
