Is there a way to lock the query panel before sending a report to end users? I have a report that has taken me months to finally get complete and accurate (this includes programs to load the data, not just creating a report :)) and I don't want them messing around and breaking it. I know that they could just download a new copy from Corp Docs, but I doubt if they would realize it's wrong.

Thanks,
Doug

Just disble the following security commands under Businessobjects in Supervisor module

Data provider manipulation
Edit Query
Edit SQL

This would work

Doh! I knew there was a place to do this, I just never had the need before.

Thanks!!!

This is not what you want. If you do this, then they can NEVER edit any query.

What you want is to lock the individual data providers in your report. It's in View->Data. Uncheck the box for making the query editable.

I guess that could cause a problem later on :)

Right now, all the do is run the reports. The reports don't change, just the date ranges and such. So I prompt them for the info. But, if this works fine, I'll do it this way.
