I am running win xp pro sp 2 on a dell inspiron. Is there any way you can within windows lock a folder so no one can open it with out a password which I can set?
I have found programs which hide the folder but none that I can right click and lock it.
If not able to do it through windows is there a program anyone knows of that will do this.
Thanks
Pamela

If you compress or "zip" the directory, you should have an option to password protect it.
