Howdy! I would like to lock down my client's Exchange 2003 box to only accept incoming SMTP traffic from Postini. Unfortunatley they are a small church and don't have the resources to purchase a firewall that could easily do this for them. Can Exchange 2003 be configured to do this?

Open the Exchange System Manager.

Navigate to the Default SMTP Virtual Server, right click and go to properties.

Within the Default SMTP Virtual Server Properties click the Access Tab, then Connection Control.

This will be where the above IPs are added. Select the Radio button "only the list below" and then add the Postini IP address.

Where can I found SMTP virtual server in Exchange System Manager?

Please advise!

Open System Manager (ideally should be off the Start menu somewhere)
Expand Servers
Expand ServerName
Expand Protocols
Expand SMTP
Default SMTP Virtual Server should be right there.
