Hi Everyone.

I have been asked to set up call recording for a customer, and I have it working... i think...

I am running 9.0.1.0.xxx with a UCM module.

The button is pushed during a call, we hear "this call is being recorded" and I can end the recording no trouble.

When I go looking for where the file is, I see nothing.
From what I read, it should be located

Code:
The directory in which WAV files are stored is C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\VM\Accounts\ExtensionName (where ExtensionName is the name of the extension within the IP Office software).

However, when I go there, I have no Accounts folder. I have refreshed my system, but still don't see it. Am I looking in the wrong place?

Regards

C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\Voicemail Pro\VM\Accounts\ExtensionName

That is when using windows as the VM server, it will be in the accounts folder on the UCM for you :-)

Thanks for the responses. I found it puts the recording into the voicemail box of the user who recorded the call.

Now all I have to do is figure out is how to find that file. Cuz it doesn't seem to show up anywhere I look!

Regards

Yes it does, that is the account folder it mentions.....it's easiest to use VM to email for such things (bear in mind it's 1mb per min) :-)

Hi there.

Interesting enough, when I connect using WinSCP, I have recordings in the VRL folder. They just don't seem to show up when I go into my Windows Explorer.

I will dig more.

Regards

Set it up so that the recordings are put in the voice recording library.
Then you must enable sharing but they is not a default option so you must do that from Linux.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!

Why not record all users in one vitual voicemailbox, en email the recording as wav file?

... or setup an FTPS somewhere to receive the files and configure the Voicemail Pro to send the files to it. Then any files put in the VRL folder are sent to you.

Stuck in a never ending cycle of file copying.

Sizbut, i forgot about that option which is the way to go.
