Hey guys,. Its been awhile sence I have touched a meridian.

I have a location in the 970 area code. Thier are over 580 exchanges for this area code. I was able to add them all but know I am being told to some of these exchanges need the area code added infron of the exchange but does not need the 1.
example (970)685-XXXX

Do I just place this in the NPA table as NPA 970?

thanks for taking the time to read this.

Before you build it in LD 90 print out 1800 and see what RLI it is pointing to, then you can build the 970 as a NPA with a local RLI.

You could offer the users the choice of dialing it 7 digit too by adding a DMI (LD 86) that would insert the NPA for you. You would still have to add the routing above of course.

You could build it as an NPA or SPN, really doesn't matter.
