Hi. Our remote office as a W2K Server running in the conference room. It acts as the local authentication server as well as a file server, and is part of our Domain here in the home office.
Employee's have to get into that machine to make presentations at times. I have added the 'server operator' group to their accounts, but was wondering if there was a better way to grant local and network access to domain users? One which would not give them much ability to modify server settings or files?

Thanks!

Paul

Err, yikes!

Suggestion - hide that machine from the users and get them a workstation...you are giving people use of a live server as a workstation?

I agree completely with Zelandakh.

Hide that machine or allow no local access!

Remember you'll be the poor soul sorting out the all the problems when somebody accidently trashes the whole network!
