how can a jpg that is according to photoshop 28 sec's long at 28.8 kbs, increasing the file by over 7 or 800 kbs..please explain that to me..

And don't have the faintest idea of what you're talking about when you say 28 secs. at 28.8!

What size in pixels is that picture? How many KBs?
Upload it... So I can have access to it!

i figured out why man..the jpg was 51.82k because it was 1224 pixels..it was a jpg that i was using for my desktop..i reduced the image to 450px and got it down to 9k..big difference..only problem is i loose the quality of the text on the jpg..i just won't use jpg..i will create some low res gifs to use as the background for inside the clips..i really don't want to leave them black..what do you think?.and in photoshop 5.5 or 6 for that matter you can save for web option..inside that option it tells you

what the file is being saved at..i guess..try the link again i changed it to the swf with the new jpg(9k)..see how long that one takes ya..

What text on the jpg are you talking about? "Endangered..."?
If so, just replicate it as a text layer in Flash, rather than having it on the jpg.

yeh the endangeredgraphics.com text on the jpg..unfortunatly i flattend the file when i saved it and don't have the psd anymore..unless you mean just cover up the text with text in flash?.i can do that..will loose the beveled glass effect but o-well..guess you have to take the good with the bad..check your montreal before you go to bed..i'm sending you something..thanks for your help..and good luck with the grounds keeping..guy can build a space ship practically with flash, but has to tend to his own yard..buy a lawn service would ya..

I'm in Montréal, Québec, Canada! You know that small country (actually bigger than the USA) above the USA! Hey Bush is going to be less than 200 miles from me on the weekend... In Québec city!
Limousines & stuff just got in the city today.

Problem is... I live but 35 miles from Montréal (3 million population), in a small village with about 1200 residents. I have cable, but need digital cable to have access to a cable modem... My guess is that not enough of thoses 1200 residents want that connection yet! Guess we'll have it some day!
