Loading Standard edition on Desktop 2000 pro problem

I have loaded the standard edition on this 2000PRO laptop in the past. I rebuilt and now can only load the personal edition. (SQL 2000) Help

Can't imagine how you did it in the past as SQL 2000 standard edition only runs on a server operating system.

Are you positive you loaded the same OS? Could your laptop originally have had Win2K SERVER edition OS??
