Load Images from Directory

Hi,

I've done some search for this but I can't seem to find exactly what I need.

I have a banner on the top of my webpage which will display a series of images stored in the bannerimages folder. What I'm wanting to do is to load all images from this folder into flash, display each image for 10 seconds then fade into the next image.

Three questions.

1. How do I load all the images in the folder without knowing the file name or the total number of images in the folder?

2. Can I display a loading progress bar if the image hasn't downloaded?

3. How do I run through these loaded imags, do I some how store them into an array then call each one out depending on how many images there are?


I'm sorry if this has been asked before I can't seem to find it.

1- Not without the use of some server side scripting as PHP.

2- Yes.

3- When you've loaded them in Flash, yes you can store them in an array.
