I'm seem to be stuck, We have non-intuitive names on our computers, but I want to use IE4 on our intranet, and would like to use intuitive names for our internal links. Suggestions??

LM host files vs. Wins and DNS

I'm not real sure from what you stated how your intranet was set up or what exactly these links are doing. My first question is to just rename the links after they have been created to a more friendly name. Even though the computer name is "423fgs65" you can rename the link "Bob's computer".<br>
