Ok, I must have screwed up my acct's with livemail, my server is Verizon and I am setting up the acct correctly but it will not work properly, it will not download any messages, it is connected but it shows a timeout message ..

Somebody can help me out ??

Have you contacted your ISP, or checked their web page, for the correct settings you need to use to get E-mail working?

What is the full and exact message you are seeing? Are you using the 2011 version of Windows Live Mail?

Have you tried the option to "Manually configure Server Settings" rather than relying on the Account setup to do it automatically?

Are these what you are using?

Mail server settings
Incoming mail server (POP3): incoming.verizon.net
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): outgoing.verizon.net
Your Verizon Online user name
Your Verizon Online password

What are my email settings?

Usually outgoing mail ports are 25 and incoming are 110, but that might vary from ISP to ISP.

Did you fix it?

Sometimes repeated tries will be met with a lockout instigated by the ISP. Ensure you're using the correct username and password - you can sometimes check this by logging onto the ISP's online Webmail facility.
