This is a relativly embarrasing question, but I am at wits end here.
I have a 2k dns server from which i would like to host live domains. My logic said that all i needed was to point a domain name from another dns server to my dns server, and i would then be able to use my dns server to point domains to IP's. This sadly has not been working.
So basically my question is what process must i go through to make my dns server capable of becoming authoritative for domains outside of my local network. I have mapped port 53 through my router, and can confirm that all is correct with DNS.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
