Hi all,
Is there a known way of selecting multiple items in a listbox by a "click and drag" type of method? Say I have 10 items in the control. I want the user to be able to click on item # 2 and drag the mouse down to item# 10 and in the end have #2 through #10 selected. Any ideas?
regards

Hi,

in design time, select your listbox, then go to properties panel, look for "SelectionMode". In the dropDownList, select "Multiple".

Cheers.

Thanks for your response, but I dont think I explained my issue clearly. I want to be able to select multiple items with a single click of the mouse on the top item , then drag the mouse cursor down the list while holding the mouse button down and selecting all items I drag over.

This isnt quite standard Listbox behaviour. Is there any reason why you cant click the first item, and shift-click the last item, which is Windows standard behaviour

I am using a touchscreen for this application. So I want the user to be able to touch on one item and drag down their fringer to select multiple items.

Set the SelectionMode property to MultiExtended.
