Howdy,
Looking for the right Method to get a list Print of TNs that are used in the system. (We are running out, and I have already looked into disbaled sets) Trying to find a way to Get a simple List that displays TNs and maybe type of phone programmed on that TN..(including Phantoms) I believe LD 81 is where to go.. but just need a little help from above.

Thank you
Matt

ld 81
lst
sets

but that will not always give dn's..
ld 83
req tnb

Thank you.. this is a great start...
found a few Phantom TNs that I didn't know existed!

I've found LD81 List FEAT SETS always gives the DN of non-ACD phones, and on ACD phones, gives the position. I think it is when you list another feature rather than SETS that you don't always get the PDN

I just noticed that, I did a VCE call and other stuff came up.. I guess I am wondering if I can just get this list to show every known TN programmed..

the one in 83 does a better job,

ld 117
inv generate midnight

then tomorrow,

inv prt sets

that will give you an idu of all sets, pretty good list..

ld 20
prt
tnb
then go to pepedog.com/merridian and get his excel that sorts that tnb into an excel

Again, I must clarify what John meant

LD83
REQ srt for the "flat file" one TN per row version.

or

REQ tnb For a semi-good TNB in DES order

Getting Closer...

After doing your suggestions.. I have come up with about 1300 TNs programmed out of 2500 of which I have only 58 TNs availiable left to program on. So I would like to assume that each T1 I have uses X-Number of TNs?? Am I correct in thinking this? I have 31 T1s (24 chan * 31 = 744)

So with that..

744 + 1331 = 2075 TNS in use. Am I correct in my methods?

Thanks

(Some days I wish we could have OTM installed....)

tn's are use by t1's just not license, avaible license and vacant tn's have no direct relationship.. i know "techs" that spend hours on end learning otm, when nortel changes to a new os, they can spend years learning it.. learn cli, your better off and you actually know the switch not the switch interface..
