Anyone know of a way to automate running a 'List Measurements Blockage PN' report? I have been asked to monitor PN traffic on a daily basis on 11 different switches. Needless to say, I don't want to have to login to each system and run a command every morning if I don't have to. I know there are some reports that can be setup to run automatically, but I don't see this one in the list.

I'm also open to the option of third party apps or anything that I might use for this if they exist.

If you are using ASA on the left side under Advanced-report type your command "'List Measurements Blockage PN yesterday-peak"
Choose export screen capture to file
check append date to filename
press OK

On the scheduler screen
choose time you want to run
choose Frequent
enter 24 under hours.

Remember you have to keep ASA up all the time or this will not run. I have a second computer for this very reason, to run these types of reports

Thanx

Cool...Didn't know you could just type a command in there. That helps a ton. I do have a second machine that I keep ASA on for some other monitoring tasks, so it will be easy to set this one up. Thank You.

What does this report show us? I see that I have:

BLOCKAGE STUDY REPORT

Meas Time Division Multiplexed(TDM) Port Network(PN) Link
PN Hour Usage Peg Peak Blockage Time-slots Usage Peg Peak Blockage

1 1500 2430 3611 94 0 0 0 0 0 0

The Avaya Engineer that I have been working with said that the Peak column is the important one to look at. Total number of Time Slots per Port network is 484 and Avaya recommends that you don't exceed 80% of 484. So under your peak column you have 94 time slots in use during the peak measured hour 1500. That is well below the 387 (80% of 484)recommendation.

On a couple of my systems, we are much higher utilization (high 300's to low 400's on some PN's), so I am trying to keep a closer eye on it by running this report.
