Links in Excel?

Hi All,

I have a user with an excel spreadsheet created in excel 2000. It was a current working spreadsheet with links in it. Hes empties the spreadsheet completely and it now completely blank but is showing to have 3 links under Edit>Links. I open it with Office 2003 and the Links tab is greyed out so i assume it believes it to be empty....

Any reason why Exc 2000 is showing 3 active links on a blank doc, and how i could remove them ?

you could try using Edit>Links>Change Source and linking the worksheet to itself.

Tried that, just says that its an invalid workbook and i have to hit ok 20-30 times and then it just goes back to the same screen...

Sorted it jonsi thanks anyways...

Used a free tool off a web search and it found them and cleared them.. was called Findlink.xla i think.
