Hi, I have a workbook that was created by making a copy of another workbook, and then changing that copy, and saving it with a new file name. When I open this file in excel 2000, and go to edit --> links, it shows the name of the original file, even though there is no data sharing between files, and the original doesn't exist anymore. And in 2000, I don't find a way to just delete that link either. In XP, that link doesn't show up in the edit --> links dialog box. This phantom link is causing a problem with another program I have that works with the spreadsheet, so finding a way to delete it is key. The program that works with the spreadsheet is installed on my computer, which is running 2000. I looked at the file on another machine running XP to try to delete it using the improved XP links manager box. Since I can't delete it in XP, because it doesn't show up there, how can I delete it in 2000?
Thanks. Hope this isn't too confusing.
