Linking tables: Fields show up but not data

I am linking tables between MS Access and an AS/400 via ODBC. When I link the table, all that gets imported is the field names but not the data.

For example: CustName, and CustPhone will import but not the data, John Doe and 123-456-7891, will not import with it.

Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong. I want utilize the linked tables so my AS/400 data will constantly be available through MS Access.

Any help will be appreciated.
