I have a database with unique part number field. I use this field to name an image matching the database record. I need to find a way to link the path, the image and the form page. I don't want to open another program to display the image just show it on the form. Any ideas? TP

In form design open the toolbar "ToolBox" this has 3 buttons that will start a wizard and guide thru placing a picture on your form.

I answered a similar question with specific code in the following link:

Thread702-289543

This explaination was for a report but I also added a form object explaination at the bottom.

Hope this helps you.

What a winner thanks Bob. I knew there would be a really simple way but none of the reference books seem to mention it. Thanks again from down under TP

Bob,
your solution works for me but only for .bmp images. I need to be able to use .jpeg images. Am I missing something, a dll or an add in maybe?
The error message I get is..

"Database Name" doesn't support the format of the file 'D:\temp\picture1.jpeg," so it can't load the picture.

Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Jason

I believe it has something to do with the extension .jpeg. Try changing the extension of the files to .jpg and refereing to them in the browsing and linking of the image to your form in that manner.
