Well, easy for some maybe but I just can't seem to get it working.

I want to link a drop down list with data. EASY.

On the drop down list (already created) i've got say:

1
2
3
4
5

and I want the next cell on the right to link in with that.

So if "1" was selected then you'd get: "Monday"
So if "2" was selected then you'd get: "Tuesday"

etc.

Not difficult, just I can't seem to get my head around it.

Anyone?

I figured that one shortly after I posted - Although it has been a problem that I have had for a couple of days now. Just seemed to come to me, just like that. lol.

One more question:

I've got a worksheet, approximately A4 size, but I've set a cell that's number 700 or something to "general" when you right click and select format.

Now, the scroll bar srolls all the way down to 700, even though there's nothing in the cell. (Does this make sense?)

Basically excel thinks there is something in the cell.

Anyone help on this one?

delete the row or clear the cells formats - if you format a cell it is viewed as "used" by excel and expands the "used range" of the spreadsheet

That makes sense, but I have selected the "used" cells and clicked "clear contents" but nothing seems to take effect.

you need to clear the format as well but that can only be done by code or by physically deleting the cell
