I just bought a 5-port 3Com home/business hub and intend to hook up 2 computers to the hub to start (longer term, I plan on adding additional computers). These 2 computers currently use Win98SE on a 200MHZ IBM Aptiva and Win98 on a 1.3 Gig MHZ AMD Athlon. Before I set up the network, I would like to upgrade the AMD Athlon OS to Win2000 or possibly even WinXP. Can anyone comment on how problematic this might prove? Many thanks...

I doubt you will have any problems at all. I currently have win98, XP, 2000, and a mac on the same hub, and they all work together just fine without doing any tweaking whatsoever. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
