linking a subreport????

need some help with the sub report

1.when i click on the customer name on the main report i get all the details of that customer.
i i tried to do it by checking the option of make sub report as a hyperlink than in the subreport it gives the detail of all the customer instead of a single customer.

do anyone have an idea how to solve this problem or any method other the sub report to deal such type of things

Hi,

I have this problem before.
I create a parameter field and apply in main report. Then create the same parameter field and apply in sub report. The value of Sub-report's parameter referring to the value of main report.

I am sorry that I am on leave and I do not have Crystal REport install in my laptop now. Else can give you further details.
