link problem 1

I have been away from assemply sinse the mid 1980's but wish to re-visit the good old stuff.

I tried the following:

From a DOS window on a W2K O/S

masm test.asm Microsoft Assembler V5.1

0 warnings
0 errors

link test Overlay Linker V3.64


Successful test.exe and it executes

My questions are:
How far behind am I with Version 5.1?
What are the things I can't do with V5.1?
What will I be able to do with the latest masm version?
