link excel charts to access form

I have created an unbound form in access. In this form I currently have placed 3 excel pivot table charts. I want the form to update the charts with the most current chart from the excel file every time the form opens. I am guessing the charts need to be linked rather than embedded but I do not know where or how to write the code to make this happen. I usually build databases with macros instead of code because I am not any good at it, but I think code is the only way to go with this. Research indicated something about manipulating the action property but I dont know how to do that. Please help.

Have you tried using the pivot chart/report wizard in excel? its under data/pivot table pivot chart report wizard. then just use external data. link it with your form's database in access I think that should work for you.
