I got an old problem. I think very rarely people will still use SCSI card. But, due to certain circumstances, I just install a SCSI card into PC. Download the driver and install it and install scanner driver but when test scanner, it says

Link Error
Invalid Port Address
Error code: 00140E03h [00000000h]

Please make sure the SCSI card had been plugged into the computer and the port address that you select is consistent with the interface card (for UDS-IS10)

What this error means? Thanks.

The UDS-IS10 card is designed for Windows 3.1. You didn't mention what OS you are using, but to go to Win95/98, you need to upgrade the card to UDS-IS11. I assume you are installing a Umax Vistascan? If so, good luck!

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.

You mean that SCSI card is for Window 3.1? Yeah, I'm installing Vistascan. I remember this word Vistascan.

AFAIK, that card is for Win 3.1... is not supported on newer OS. Something to do with it being 8-bit probably.

When in doubt, deny all terms and defnitions.
