Environment: Symposium 4.0.1.7 / Meridian Release 25.30
Problem: I have a Lineside T-1 hooked up to an Edify 8.5 IVR with the requisite “500” TNs configured (with ACD agents assigned).

We can successfully log-in/log-out the agents, put active calls on hold, etc., through TAPI SP (and Julmar phone/TAPI Browser), but cannot facilitate a call transfer from those ports. We get a LINEERR OPERATION UNAVAILABLE (basically no more calls can be made).

We do not have this issue using TAPI to transfer a call from a digital set (2616), only from the IVR ports.

The CLS on the TNs have XFA, so transfer is allowed. Trying to ensure it is not CLS related, I have also set MBXA (multi-party XFER allowed), MCRA (multiple call arrangement allowed), and XHA (exclusive hold allowed) – not sure if they make a difference.

First: which tapi version are you have?
If you have Tapi 3.0 or later you don´t need install PEP in the server.
In the Option 11C install the multimedia dependecies PEP for your release.
In the port extension change the AACD prompt to YES.

Happy new year.
