Line spacing question....

Hi, i am doing a website made out of several tables in dreamweaver. I want the text in the tables to be close together horizontally like your reading now, however, when i press enter it goes down way to far. I know this is probably a really easy thing to fix but i am stuck, any one got any ideas? thanks, pce

you could use the <br> tag. here is an example:

This site is best viewed with Internet Explorer.<br>
(Optimized for Internet Explorer 5.5+)<br>
<br>
Click here to download.

...will be displayed as:

This site is best viewed with Internet Explorer.
(Optimized for Internet Explorer 5.5+)

Click here to download.

...instead of what you are saying:

<p>This site is best viewed with Internet Explorer.</p>
<p>(Optimized for Internet Explorer 5.5+)</p>
<p>&nbsp</p>
<p>Click here to download.</p>

...hitting Return in DW inserts a <p> tag.
