Limit on amount of RAM

Is there a limit on how much RAM WinNT server can see? We have 6GB installed, and BIOS sees it, but only about 4GB show up in NT.

Hi OnlineIT,

memory in NT 3.51, 4.0 and 2K is limited to 4095 MB (=4GB).

Yes, RAM is limited to 4GB.

Why would you have 6GB on NT?

The server is running some rather specialized software, and accesses several DB's. If we can load an entire table or database into memory, it's a HUGE plus for us.
