Greetings!

I would like to know how to limit the bandwidth on our Cisco 2950 switch to 64kbps. We currently have a 128K internet link that is split between 2 networks. One of the networks is using a cisco 2950 and that network seems to take ALL the 128K leaving the other with little or no bandwidth. Is there anyway for my to cap the bandwidth so it doesn't not exceed 64K, that way both networks can have the same bandwidth?

Any help is appreiated.

Thanks

You can only police at increments of 1M on the 2950 - so 1M, 2M, 3M etc through to 100M (Gig ports are in multiples of *m starting at 8M). You may be able to do some queuing on the ISP Router though based on source IP addresses?

Andy

As ADB100 said you should try something like weighted fair queueing on the router which should more equal the access of the output on the serial line .
