Hi all,

I fitted a screen from a scrap E series lifebook, into a C series lifebook.

The display works fine, however once the PC boots into Ctr+Alt+del i.e. windows boots the screen is fuzzy, icon text is difficult to read etc.

I think this is a driver issue, however how do i get drivers for the flat pannel laptop display?

any ideas at all would be good.

Thanks in advance

when you changed the lcd display did you change just the panel or did you change the dc/dc convertor card also? It could be a signal or voltage issue...lcd should be fine with the generic lcd driver in windows.

Could just be a resolution/refresh rate setting problem
TFT's often display fuzzy especially if the refresh rate is set too high.

LCDs do have a native resolution. If you run it at anything above or below that resolution the picture quality will generally suffer. Try looking for the native resolution for the "new" LCD.
