I have a win2003 server. And I will purchase CAL for my clients ( win98, win2k, win xp pro). My win2003 will bea domain controller. But I have also a server with win2000 server and this server I want to make also a domain controller ( like a BDC) in the same domain with win2003. My question is, what kind of licenses I need for Win 2000 server?. This server is used, for backup data and for backup domain controller.

As long as you have 2003 CAL's they are backwards compatible with 2000 server.
